Sandyhills Learning Centre

The new learning centre officially opened on Wednesday 13 August 2008. 

John Wheatley College are organising computer training in the purposely designed classroom in

the Community Hall at the multi storey flats. Please contact Charlie McKay (Concierge Manager) on 778 6806 to arrange your computer training. All welcome

Currently we have over 200 members, but we are always looking for more local residents with an interest in TCH to become members.

Get involved and make your voice heard

The Local Community Planning Partnerships have agreed to establish 5 Community Reference Groups in the East Glasgow area. Community Reference Groups will consist of a cross section of up to 20 local residents and will reflect the diversity of the local community: men, women, young, old.

Community Reference Groups will:

• give a voice to residents and involve them in the decisions made about the services that affect them
• be inclusive and reach into the wider community
• encourage communities to come together to share their knowledge and experience in solutions to local issues.

We want you to come along and join the Community Reference Group in your area!

LOCAL TENANTS & RESIDENTS ASSOCIATIONS MEETINGS & EVENTS

Sandyhills Multis Tenants Association - Community Hall                                                     

Aerobics – Friday 10 am until 10.45 am

Art & Craft class - Friday 11 am - 1.30 pm

Public meetings are held on third Thursday of every second month at 2 pm.

Meetings and classes with the exception of aerobics will stop at the end of May until September for the summer recess.

Baillieston Tenants & Residents Association

The next meeting of the Association is Tuesday 1st June at 7pm in the Hope Hall, Church St.

Aerobics - Friday mornings 11-11.45 am - St Brigids' Church Hall, Camp Road, Baillieston

Arts and Craft Class - Thursday morning 10 - 12 - TCH Conference Room, Main Street                       

Public meetings are held in Sandford Gardens on the 1st Tuesday of every 2nd month at 7pm. Nect meeting 2nd Feb 2010.
